Dr. Hafiz Ahmed, MD, LFAPA, is a board-certified Consultant Psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience in psychiatric care, psychopharmacology, evidence-based practice, and psychotherapy in the United States. He has extensive expertise in addiction medicine, substance abuse, and alcohol dependence.
Dr. Ahmed has helped countless individuals manage and recover from conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, and other psychiatric disorders through empathetic and patient-centered care.
He has held leadership roles, including Medical Director positions across inpatient and outpatient settings, community centers, and private practice in the U.S.
A graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, Dr. Ahmed completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of Maryland Medical System and an additional fellowship in community psychiatry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a Life
